Sleeping in an Aquarium at the Equarius Hotel Singapore

Coolest Hotel Room

There are few times I have walked into a hotel room and found myself buzzing around the room like a child brimming with excitement – but it should come at no surprise that this was my reaction to the moment I stepped inside my room at The Equarius Hotel in Singapore.
Resort World Sentosa have cleverly created the ultimate resort experience by swapping different room types for different room experiences to their guests. You can find yourself sleeping in an aquarium, a treehouse or swimming around your lagoon, all in the same resort.

The Equarius Hotel In Singapore

The moment I checked in I was snapping away with my iPhone steadily in my hands, still catching my breath that I would be calling this hotel room home for the evening. It really was as exciting as it sounds!
Beside having the best replacement for a television set to keep me visually satisfied all evening, the hotel room had a lot of other noteworthy features. First of all, the room was huge – two stories, in fact. On the ground floor I had my bedroom complete with aquarium view, a large ensuite and Nespresso station (which I equally blame for my being awake at 4:00am watching stingray pass me by).
Of course you can draw the curtain should you not wish to be up all night, but where’s the fun in that!?
Upstairs features a second bathroom, living area, large television and entertainment system, as well as a private outdoor Jacuzzi. Yes, this is perhaps the perfect honeymoon suite. The hotel is also a wedding proposal hotspot for obvious reasons!

Price: $1,200 AUD per room per night with The Equarius Hotel Singapore

World of Wanderlust experienced this hotel as a guest of Resort World Sentosa and Singapore Tourism Board, however my opinion is as always, my own.

That hotel looks stunning, I could soak in that tub all freaking night long. And I definitely think if there’s a tub right in front of the mirror that the divers couldn’t see inside… At least I would hope so! Glad you enjoyed your stay there!
