You’d be forgiven for not having heard about Qbic Hotel – but you won’t be forgiven for not dropping everything, reading on for more, and discovering arguably THE best accommodation on offer for 20s-30s year olds in London.

Qbic Hotel London – An Overview:

Qbic Hotel is located in the hipster end of town – better known as Shoreditch in East London. This is where you’ll find an array of markets, amazing coffee and even better company.

The hotel is a great option for those travellers coming to London wanting somewhere suited for a younger crowd, but a few steps up from a hostel. You’ll be guaranteed a comfortable stay in London in your private accommodation, large rooms, and even free coffee/tea throughout your stay.

To put it briefly, this is where you’d come to actually enjoy your stay in London and discover what it’s like to live here with locals as opposed to being shacked up in the tourist-heavy part of town.

Qbic Hotel Review

Check-in was smooth and simple. I arrived late in the evening and the friendly girl on reception quickly sorted me out with a key and instructions to reach the 4th floor where my room was located.

Once inside my room I plonked my bags on the floor and took a quick look around before promptly passing out after arriving from a few busy days in Spain.

The room was spacious and incredibly convenient, with light switches placed on the bedside, cup holders in the bedside tables, free wi-fi, and air conditioning to ensure a comfortable night of rest. I immediately noticed how modern the room was as well, perhaps unsurprisingly as Qbic Hotel is a new addition to London. For the rates on offer, I could tell this was a really reasonable place to stay in East London with a youthful vibe.

The next morning at breakfast I noticed just how accurate my first impressions were. Down at the buffet breakfast I was surrounded by oodles of young people mingling with one another, working on their laptops, or scoffing down a quick bite before heading out to explore London for the day. It was a vibe not dissimilar from a youth hostel, but had the added luxury of private rooms that made for a much more comfortable stay whilst in London.

Qbic Hotel

The location is certainly one of the biggest highlights of the hotel. Located smack bang in the middle of Shoreditch, you’ll find it hard to ever want to leave this neighbourhood – which has quickly become the place to see and be seen for 20s-30s year olds.

On Saturday the streets particularly come to life, with many pop-up boutique stalls and street food eats taking to the streets in the nearby Brick Lane.

If you also want to play up the tourist vibe while you’re here, you can catch the tube to the likes of Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square and Westminster – reaching these within around 20 minutes time.

Book this hotel if…

If you’re looking for a youthful vibe at a hotel where you’re likely to meet like-minded people but would prefer the hotel experience over that of hostels, then this is the hotel in London for you. It’s the perfect choice for travellers visiting London on a reasonable budget – looking for a comfortable place to stay in the most happening part of town for young people.

Rooms from $140 per night if booked in advance – Check availability here.

Thanks to Qbic Hotel for arranging this visit – My opinion is as always, my own.
