Notting Hill is not only one of my favourite films (1999 featuring Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts), but also one of my favourite neighbourhoods to explore in London. On my recent visit to London I stayed at The Milestone Hotel in Kensington, meaning I was right in the middle of two of my other favourite neighbourhoods (Kensington and Chelsea), and just a 20 minute stroll from Notting Hill and the famous Portobello Road Markets.
On one of my days in the city, I met with a fellow blogger (Sophie Andreassend of Sophocles Blog) to capture this Notting Hill outfit and create some memories of my beloved neighbourhood and my time in London!
If planning to spend some time in Notting Hill, I would definitely recommend checking out the full WOW Guide to Notting Hill. Some favourites include Granger & Co for the best brunch, Wild at Heart for gorgeous flower displays, and the Electric Cinema.
If you’re up for an adventure, you could hunt down the famous “blue door” from the Notting Hill film, located at 1eh, 280 Westbourne Park Road. Sadly, there won’t be any Hugh Grant spotting (he’d be made to step foot in the neighbourhood with so many avid fans visiting daily), but there’s still plenty of room for imagination.
