Travel needn’t be a once a year type thing, but an every day lifestyle we live, breathe and dream. To take your adventures home with you or just to continue living an inspired life, here are some great finds to splurge on yourself this Christmas or that wanderluster you know will appreciate a small gift for their home.

Lets admit it, we’re all guilty of picking favourites…

Gold Map

Gold Map by Elm Paper $30

I searched and searched the internet for this print and finally found it online at Elm Paper for a bargain $30. Its an extra $50 to have it framed, which was a little too hard to resist so I went all out and splurged for my home office.

mint tea

Moroccan Mint Tea Glass $14

Sticking with the gold theme, I really ‘have a thing’ lately for tea, especially Moroccan Mint Tea. Thus I’ll put one, two or three of these gorgeous T2 tea glasses on my wishlist this year!

Moroccan blanket

Moroccan Wedding Blanket Pillows (Varies)

I very rarely buy souvenirs, but when I do I make sure they’re something I can keep for life. Whilst in Morocco earlier this year, this is one thing I knew I had to buy whilst there as the pillow cases were just too beautiful for words. If you’re not going to Morocco any time soon, the good news is you can buy them online at!

Over to you! What is on your wishlist this year?

I love HONY- I always buy my grandmother, dad and mum a copy of the newest release for Christmas every year. They love it! The newest one is my favourite so far.

Because I’m now travelling so far I’ve had to be a bit creative about not just what to give people but what people can give me. Instead of just sending me money for my travel fund my family have tried to buy me specific experiences; Mum has gotten me a ticket to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on the westend, Dad has gotten me a ticket to Disneyland Paris, my sister got me a ticket for the Harry Potter Studios in London, my Nan got me an activity to do in London and my Auntie got me train tickets from her place to London and an Oyster Card with money on it. It’s good, because it’s something specific!

Nice and good ideas! I think the best gift for travelers is a plane ticket.

I made a list myself, the article is only in Romanian for the moment but I will put it in english also very soon.
